Hello, my name is Arthur Eugene (Gene) Brownlow. This site is dedicated to my family past, present and future.
For more than 25 years I have researched the history of my name and extended family. This site is directly related to my Brownlow Family line with the main locations will in England, Ireland, Wales and United States of America. My Specific line entered at South Carolina and made their way to North Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas.
As with any family tree there are many extended families. Some of those include Mirick, Merrick, Smith, Rogers, Boykin, Criswell, Sudberry, Moore, Yoakum, and Chapman. These are as much my family as those with my name.
I have collected a lot of documents and pictures from family members along with other items collected though web research. I will present it within the context of the Brownlow and extended families. Some examples will be birth and death certificates, marriage license, military documents, census records and family pictures.
Our Family Tree contains more than 7,600 individuals and many family names including Brownlow, Mirick, Merrick, Rogers, Bain, Boykin, Criswell, Smith, Sudberry, Moore, Chapman and many more. These families came from all over the world to the United States and migrated to Texas, which are our direct lines. We have spent more than 25 years researching these lines and as much as I would like to be able to say everything on this website is absolutely correct I know that there will be some errors and incorrect information. With that said I do make every effort to work with anyone that can provide information that is documented. I do have a significant amount of documentation currently and continually researching for more.
Sharing of Documents
The information, documents, and pictures on this site are the property of the Brownlow Family Website. We do share our information at no charge and enjoy exchanging documents and pictures with anyone interested in doing so. In addition I do offer space on this website for those interested in publishing stories or anything of the families related to our specific lines.
